Lisa Pirkle is a self-taught artist residing in Gainesville, GA. She has always been attracted to paints, papers, and art supplies. She has been a full-time artist since she was 42 and is grateful that she is able to make a living through her creative process.

Lisa's style leans towards folk-art and she uses many different materals in her paintings. Her paintings are created on wood canvases that she makes for her art.

Art is ever evolving and Lisa evolves with it. This path has led her in many directions with new ideas, materials, and processes. Lisa loves to incorporate reclaimed materials into her mixed media pieces. Copper and metal are used quite often in her work.
