I am a self-taught artist living in Jupiter, Florida. My blue and white prints are cyanotypes made from botanicals and the sun! My layered alcohol ink series is truly a work of love! I start with a white sheet of synthetic paper, then I hand cut a design into the paper using a wood burning tool. Once this is accomplished, I color the design with alcohol ink. I repeat this process for each layer of the particular piece. After varnishing the layers, I sometimes use embroidery thread to make French Knots, giving some depth and texture. An arduous task at best, but one I love!
