This is a large Maple bowl that was turned end grain and left with a natural edge. Beetles had infested this tree and left their calling card of holes and distinct brown color pattern. It is finished with wipe on varnish, buffed, and waxed. Use only dry items in the interior. Refresh as needed with a quality furniture polish.
